Get ready because the moment you've all been waiting for is here! The Hyper FLUX stage has finally gone live and is begging for your use!

Since my last stage, the "Vocalizer Stage", was such a huge hit I decided that making another stage that was VMD spectrum compatible was the way to go. Also! This lovely little stage here comes with a completely updated VMD Spection motion list that has twice the motion data to go with all your favorite songs!

Hold onto your brains because this thing will blow your mind! From sound bars, to pulsating speakers and dazzling lights, with a spectrumized dance floor that can't be beat, the Hyper Flux stage will be sure to win your heart and the hearts of your viewers every time!

So what does this brand new stage have to offer you? Check out these awesome statistics!

Maximum band number: "15"
Autoluminous2 compatible
VMD Spectrum motion list number: "127"
Alternate Textures for bars: "11"
PMX model format
# of PMX models in folder: "2"
Fully Customizable! Ready for download!

The Hyper FLUX stage was created in Metasequoia2.4 by AnimeNebula003 for your enjoyment.
Want to see this stage in action? Watch it here! youtu.be/0fXw8rOy1LA

Now a word of caution when using this stage, because of it's set up it is a two piece stage. The first file is the stage itself and the second is the floor and the pulse lights that sit above the sound bars on the wall of the stage.
The floor and wall lights are set up with appear facial sliders so when you load this stage make sure you load the stage first and then load the floor and wall lights.

I repeat!

!!!LOAD THE STAGE BEFORE YOU LOAD THE FLOOR!!! You'll know if you loaded them wrong trust me.

To make it a little easier on your guys in case you forget I have the stage named in a way so that it will be at the top of the list for loading models and the floor lights will be at the bottom of the list. That is assuming that your computer lists files in alphabetical order of course. If it doesn't just read this description, the same thing pops up when you load the stage or the lights.

Now that we have that out of the way let's review the simple rules that go with this stage.

RULES:
Editing: Allowed, you may edit this stage however you want to. (Do not use this stage for creating edits that break the rules of other model makers!)

Distribution of edits: Only allowed if added to a character model! Edits of just this stage can not be given out! In other words (DO NOT CHANGE THE COLOR OR ADD SOMETHING TO THE STAGE AND THEN GO TRY AND GIVE IT OUT) Can't let ya do it, sorry.

Distribution: Prohibited! Do NOT give out this stage or any of it's components. The stage is here for download, just give them the link.

Credit: Always required! Please credit me (AnimeNebula003), I love seeing the awesome stuff you guys make and it makes it easier for me to find it when you credit me.

So those are the rules, easy right? So go enjoy this stage, if you want to of course! Have an awesome life guys, stay awesome! :D

Very nice! Though it seems a little laggy, I know a method to fix that if you're interested?

You can render the video with the MJPEG Compressor that comes with MMD when you go to render your video in MMD. After you render your video you will need two things, the XVid MPEG-4 Codec and the program VirtualDub. Both are free and safe to download, you can get the codec here: download.cnet.com/XviD-Video-C… (It's okay if you download from the website C.NET, it's a reputable website), and you can get VirtualDub from here: virtualdub.sourceforge.net/

I use all three of these things in order to make my videos that I put up on Youtube, it might take a bit for everything to render and compress but it really is worth it. If you do decide to do this you will need to install XVid first and then install VirtualDub. Once you do that and you have a video that has finished rendering from MMD go ahead and open VirtualDub and either go to File and select the video or simply drag it and drop it into VirtualDub when it's open. After that click on the tab that says "Video" and then in the drop menu click on "Compression". After you do that a new window will pop up, this is the window that lets you choose with codec you want to use for compressing your video. Compressing your video will make it's overall file size decrease by a lot, this will save space on your computer and let your computer have a much easier time playing videos you've made, it also really speeds up how long it takes for your video to be put on Youtube if you upload it. Once you have your compression window open you'll want to click on the codec of your choice, I recommend Xvid since it works so well and you don't lose much from your video. After you click your desired codec it will be highlighted blue and then you will click "ok". The window will disappear and it will look like nothing is happening. What you have to do then is go to file and click on the option "Save as AVI", your folders will pop up and you can save your video, the moment you do the compression process will start and you will then see VirtualDub compressing your video. Once it finishes your video will stop in the program and you can now go view your video in whatever folder you saved it in. It will not delete the uncompressed video so you'll be able to compare and contrast the two if you want to. :D

What does render in MMD mean?
Reply
:iconanimenebula003:
AnimeNebula003 Featured By Owner Sep 21, 2016  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Rendering in MMD means you are either saving your projects that you create in MMD as either a picture or a video. By definition though Rendering is the process of generating an image from a 2D or 3D model. If you open up your MMD you will see there are tabs in the top left corner, the first tab to the far right being "File", if you open file you will see options for rendering. MMD gives you two options for rendering; "Render as Picture file" and "Render as AVI". With rendering pictures you can save your picture as any picture file that is provided, I recommend .PNG format since it takes up less memory. AVI files are your video files.

Before rendering any pictures or videos though you should first go to the "View" tab and select "Screen Size", if you do that you'll get a pop up window were you can type in numbers in order to adjust the physical size of either the picture or the video. I usually have my MMD set to 1600x900 because that's how big my computer screen is. The best results for high quality videos come out when you have your MMD's screen size adjusted to your computer's screen size, it also makes it easier to see what's going on in your video too.

Also as an added tip when rendering a MMD video, under the Play button you'll see two blank spaces. Those two blank spaces are your start and stop frames, if you put 0 in the left space the video will start at frame 0. Whatever frame number you put in the space on the right will be the frame that your video stops on. So for instance if I put 0 in the left space and 300 in the right space my MMD video will only play or render to frame 300 and it will stop. When you load a motion data on a model you can see everything that get's effected on the model in that huge box on the left of the screen in MMD. That thing is were all the frames are, after you load a motion data you can use the side scroll bar on the bottom of the frame box and find exactly which frame the motion data ends on. Sometimes the frame box will go further than the last frame on the model's motion data, that sometimes happens when the camera data's frames (if it's loaded) exceed the frames of the motion data. I recommend finding the last frame of your camera data and adding 10 extra frames to your final number. So if you camera data ends on say frame 5,080 I would say end it on either frame 5,090 or even 5,100. You don't have to do this, that's just something that I do, whether you stop on the last frame or add a couple won't hurt, the only time it hurts your video is when you add less frames since by doing that your video will end prematurely.

Right click on the folder and click "Extract data", that will open the .zip file so you can use it.

How do you get the floor lights? It's not working for me. Plus I'm new to it so I'm having a bit of trouble. Also, do you load the stage as .x or .pmx?

The .X and .MQO files are provided so people can see steps of my work. The files you want to use for this stage are the PMX files. There are two, in order to get the stage lights on the wall and floor to appear you'll need to use one of the motion datas that come with the stage on them. You can load those like regular motion data like on a regular character model.

The description for this stage under the picture also tells you exactly what to do in consideration of this stage.
